Animal Handling & Management
Working with Wild cattle and buffalo is very different to domestic livestock.
Domestic stock are used to humans. This makes them more predictable when you are moving them across a property or working with them in yards or during transport.
Wild livestock may have never seen humans before and this means that when we muster or catch them they will be afraid and when animals are afraid, they become unpredictable. We need to think about how we work with wild herds ethically and safely.
